about

One of the first possibilities of composing a blues in what I hear as a real blues. At the time, I was visiting a very good friend and beautiful musician, Rudi Feusers. I asked him to help me check after I composed the tune to correct my chords when they would be so wrong. He agreed. After the song was finished, I asked Rudi if the chords were correct. He paused, and then said: "They are not wrong. They are unusual and fit the song better than what might appear normal. I would go with it if I were you. After all, even the blues can stand being improved upon in the 'Jazz" sense."
